Moscow, RUSSIA: Scientist - in vivo Pharmacology

Pharmacology of targeted nanoparticle-based therapeutic agents
BIND Biosciences, co-founded by Dr. Robert Langer of MIT and Dr. Omid Farokhzad of Harvard Medical School, is a biopharmaceutical company leveraging its proprietary Medicinal Nanoengineering™ platform to design, engineer and manufacture highly precise best-in-class targeted therapeutics for treating serious diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases. We seek a motivated and team-oriented individual who will be a key contributor to the overall success of BIND’s in vivo Pharmacology program by becoming a key leader in the day-to-day running of the in vivo facility. The successful candidate will contribute hands-on technical expertise for all aspects of tumor xenograft studies and intellectual creativity towards the pharmacology of targeted nanoparticle-based therapeutic agents.

Requires BS, MS or PhD in Pharmacology or another biological science with 3+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry plus the following:

• Extensive experience in conceptualization, design, execution and analysis of xenograft models in mice

• Skilled in design, execution and analysis of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies

• Experience with disease model development particularly in the areas of inflammation and cardiovascular diseases is a plus

• in vitro pharmacology experience including skills in routine cell culture and cell and plate based assay development would be ideal

• High energy, open minded, strong communicators with superior organizational skills and attention to detail who are looking for a collaborative, innovative and fun work environment
