BIND Biosciences, Inc. selected as 2008 Nano 50 awardee by Nanotech Briefs

CAMBRIDGE, MA – July 15, 2008 – BIND Biosciences, Inc. (BIND), a privately held biopharmaceutical company developing an entirely new class of targeted therapeutics based on multifunctional nanoparticles, announced today their selection as a 2008 Nano 50 awardee by Nanotech Briefs, a newsletter by the publishers of NASA Tech Briefs. The Nano 50 awards recognize the top 50 technologies, products and innovators that have significantly impacted, or are expected to impact, the state of the art in nanotechnology.  BIND was selected as an awardee in the “Technologies” category, for technology breakthroughs that are expected to have significant and widespread impact.  BIND’s selection as a 2008 awardee in the “Technologies” category follows on a 2007 award in the “Innovators” category to Omid C.
